The public EQUALeyes event hosted by the NIHR Moorfields Biomedical Research Centre and INSIGHT Data Hub at the Bloomsbury Festival brought together a group of four experts in the fields of AI and Health Research.
Hosted at the St Giles London Hotel on the 24th October, the panel, chaired by Alex Black of INSIGHT, featured:
- Dr Brieuc Lehmann – Co-Founder Data Science for Health Equity; Assistant Professor Statistical Science, UCL Dept Statistical Science
- Prof. Pearse Keane – Professor of Artificial Medical Intelligence at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology; consultant ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital; Director of the INSIGHT Health Data Research Hub
- Dr Siegfried Wagner – Honorary Clinical Senior Research Fellow at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology
- Dr Ariel Ong – NIHR-MEC Doctoral Fellow, UCL Institute of Ophthalmology; Honorary Clinical Research Fellow, Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust; Data Lead for INSIGHT
